Hello there.
My name is Amber Watkins and I am the lady behind the lens. I am based in northeastern North Carolina, but have a travelers soul and LOVE getting to see and experience new places.
I am married to the love of my life, who is an Army Veteran and police officer. I have many titles, but the ones I am most proud of are wife, and very blessed mama of two! Being a boy mom has taught me so much about myself, my boys are the most rambunctious, outspoken, loving little people I have ever met! Honestly, most days they drive me crazy, but they are the reason I picked up a camera to begin with. I'm not sure who keeps me on my toes more, my kids or my husband, but I am sure I couldn't do this crazy life without them.
I have always had a love of photography, and I have always been the annoying one in my family who asks for yearly pictures because lets face it, time passes us by too fast! I began photography in 2014 after I had my oldest son, and I just wanted to be able to capture his life. That blossomed into wanting to give everyone memories that they could treasure, and here we are! I want to make every client feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera so that I can capture the purest moments I possibly can. Posed portraits are great to have, but I love being able to give my clients a little more than that- I love being able to give them images of them interacting with the people they love the most. Every photographer has a different look and feel, and every photographer has a different way of doing things; that is what makes the creative industry so great.
